OUR HOST
Carol F. Burton
“Life is about relationships. Relationship with The Source, Yourself, Your Birth Parents or Primary Caretakers, Siblings, friends, relatives, colleagues, neighbors and the list goes on. The quality and strength of each relationship varies depending on the degree of attention and ranking assigned. It is not by accident that I begin the list with the Source. In my life, the eternal relationship with Source, the Creator or God , is first and foremost. As an adult I no longer search to find a socially acceptable way to describe “my everything”, the three words Source, Creator, God, are synonymous. Second only to God is the relationship with Self. I have learned that these two relationships, God and Self, are singular. When I am not in alignment with my best self I am not in alignment with God. I am either pushing against or allowing; I am either feeling discomfort or experiencing joy and peace. It is simple but it took a while for me to learn how not to make it complicated; usually with a long story about how things are versus how I want them to be. “

The relationship that I nurture and take care of with God and myself allows me the freedom, space and energy to develop intentional relationships with others. I can walk in a room and shift the energy so that some feel joy and possibilities immediately. I want my life to always be this way, so I take care of myself FIRST.

With Love,
